For the sake of beauty?

Can we raise funds to buy land on the Isle of Wight for the sake of beauty?

Only time will tell.

On our own it is not feasible (for most of us mortals) to buy land for the sake of beauty. We are all working to make ends meet in various ways. But together, the idea is that if we can give something then we can preserve land merely for the sake of being land. Who will appreciate it? Will it 'pay off'?

All of the habitats and wildlife will appreciate the space to be.

Paradoxically, by buying land for the sake of it being land we will be helping to maintain the reason that so many tourists come to the island which in turn helps the livelihoods of islanders.

So, yes. it could very well 'pay off'.
